SuperValu retailers were out in force at the recent presentation of the 2008 SuperValu Best Kept Town Awards.
Retailers attending the ceremony at Ballyearl Theatre in Newtownabbey included Neville and May Woods, the owners of Woods’ Group of SuperValu stores in Richhill, Ballynahinch, Belfast and Comber. They were there to congratulate representatives from the County Armagh village of Richhill, which took the top title in the prestigious awards scheme. The annual SuperValu Best Kept Awards are organised by the Northern Ireland Amenity Council (NIAC) and sponsored by SuperValu and its retail partners.
Pictured with their ‘Best of the Best’ sign are Richhill Improvement Association members Jane Bell and Kathleen Brown with (l-r) Doreen Muskett MBE, President of NIAC; SuperValu Richhill owners Neville and May Woods; David McKee from Armagh City and District Council; and NIAC Chairman Charlie Smyth.
