The 26th annual Ulster Grocer Marketing Awards are expected to be as closely contested as ever. All eyes are now on the annual Ulster grocers’ Ball in support of GroceryAid when the winners will be unveiled.
For a number of categories, the standard of entries was so high that the judges decided to award special ‘Highly Commended’ statuses to a number of ‘stand-out’ submissions.
Ormo took home the biggest prize of the night for a “well-executed multi-media Marketing campaign which had the capacity to promote Ormo brand”.
Mash Direct took the prize for Best Brand for “an excellent entry, a prime example of brand planning at its best”. Judges felt there was “a real love for the brand from the owners and that it still felt like their brand even after all their success.”
For the launch of Linwoods milled flaxseed, Probiotic & Vitamin D for an innovative application to a niche market and excellent packaging design.
PRM Group were awarded the prize for their export of cheesecakes to Holland.
