Moy Park announces major investment in skills

Northern Ireland’s largest company, Moy Park, has announced a major £8m investment in a strategic multi-year skills programme to support the growth of the company as a leading European food business.

The skills growth programme, which will be supported by a £1.4m grant from Invest Northern Ireland, covers a comprehensive suite of training and learning initiatives including leadership and management development, technical competences and functional skills across the entire company workforce.

Moy Park’s HR Director Europe, Mike Mullan stated:

We are delighted to announce this significant investment into skills and training, supported by Invest Northern Ireland, which will be instrumental in sustaining our continual transformation, growth and improvement.

Moy Park is Northern Ireland’s largest employer with around 6,300 of its 12,000 employees based here. The company was recently awarded the IGD John Sainsbury Learning and Development Award in recognition of its best in class approach to people development.
