SPAR Shop & Win Campaign: £250,000 of prizes to be won
SPAR Northern Ireland has announced the return of their Shop & Win campaign, a UK-wide promotional scheme aimed to drive footfall and consumer awareness.
Shop & Win, which is now entering its fourth phase of activity is a major SPAR initiative designed to attract new customers to stores across Northern Ireland, as well as increase visit frequency of existing shoppers.
Shoppers will be in with the chance to win more than £250,000 worth of prizes throughout the summer – including the chance to win 1,000s of prizes every day.
There will be three different phases of the summer 2016 Shop & Win campaign aligned to what promises to be a fantastic summer of sport – the first, which runs from 5th May-13th July, will offer shoppers the chance to win an iPad Mini every single day along with the Grand Prize of a Sony 55” 4K TV. There will also be a sales driving initiative running in conjunction with Stella Artois to win VIP tickets to Wimbledon via purchase of one of their products.
The other phases of activity will include a 5* trip to Rio de Janeiro to be won along with some fantastic sports-related prizes including carbon-framed bikes and Apple Watch Sport edition daily giveaways.

“Thanks to its phenomenal success last year we are delighted to see the SPAR Shop & Win campaign making a return to stores across Northern Ireland to reward our loyal shoppers.
SPAR Northern Ireland has gone beyond traditional retailer led marketing techniques, to engage our tech-savvy market with frequency-driving mobile vouchers that can be instantly redeemed at participating stores.
The campaign, developed using our expertise with convenience shoppers, will change shopper behaviour and is perhaps a glimpse into the future – showing what can be achieved when mobile coupon redemption systems exist at the till.”
Retailers will be supported throughout this campaign with themed POS, Royal Mail national Leaflets going to over 700,000 per 3 week cycle households across Northern Ireland, consumer website content and banner ads, alongside a strong social media presence.
Sara concluded; “We are confident this will be a rewarding exercise for our retailers; we’re aiming for increased footfall, which would lead to increased sales across all stores. It is also a chance for shoppers to see what’s new at SPAR, including all our locally sourced fresh and ambient Own Brand ranges.
The Shop & Win campaign launched in SPAR stores across Northern Ireland on Thursday 5th May and will run until in stores until 15th September.
