Costcutter offers fresh start with New Year recruitment drive

Costcutter Supermarkets Group (CSG) is offering independent retailers a ‘fresh start’ with a major New Year recruitment drive.
The campaign is focused on demonstrating the growth existing retailers have experienced through embracing key shopper trends around healthy eating and increasing demand for fresh food, vegan and Free From ranges through its Shopper First: Drive Five to Thrive growth programme. The campaign features CSG retailers and shopper testimonials, as well as case studies and insights in to the levels of support CSG offers to its retailers; all of which is housed on a new dedicated website www.freshstart.costcutter.co.uk
The new drive on recruitment will be headed by Jamie Davison, who is bringing his 30-year wealth of experience in CSG retail to a newly created role. Following a restructure designed to provide even greater levels of support to new and existing retailers alike, from the start of the year Jamie has taken up a new role as business development director, New Business. As a result, CSG welcomed Francesca Haynes on January 6 as business development director, Wholesale. Francesca brings with her extensive experience from senior retail roles at Aldi, ASDA, B&Q and Paperchase.
